I enjoy envisioning future technologies, working on engineering problems, and assembling engineering teams. I frequently find pleasure in identifying business cases for engineering solutions and determining how technologies can serve the end user's interests.

Upon completing my PhD in Machine Learning in 2018, I initially leaned towards a corporate career, but I quickly shifted my decision towards the startup route, believing I could make more significant and immediate impacts through my daily work.

My core background is in Machine Learning, Software, and Electrical Engineering, yet working with startups has enabled me to undertake unexpected roles such as hiring and building engineering teams, participating in acquisition processes, traveling across Europe and North America for client meetings, negotiating business deals, and collaborating with colleagues in Sales, Operations, and Marketing.

  • Developed and wrote the software architecture for Syntiant’s NDP Model Converter.
  • Working with the CTO and traveled across Europe and North America to meet business partners for the design of Syntiant’s NDP Model Converter and the next-generation chip specification.

📈 (Founder and CEO)

  • As Co-Founder and CEO of Value Cumulation, I initiated the venture solo, writing the software to provide financial insights into public companies. As the project evolved, I grew the team, incorporating design, engineering, and sales expertise. We operated independently for nearly two years but eventually decided to disband due to market saturation and intense competition. This journey offered me invaluable insights for future endeavors.

🔬(merged with Commure)

  • Engineered the ML stack for blood cell detection.
  • Led a team to conduct tests for FDA (Food and Drug Administration) regulatory compliance.
  • Designed the PCB (Printed Circuit Board) for the Athelas One device.
  • Developed both front and backend software for the Athelas Dashboard.

When I’m not at work, I’m usually engaged in personal projects such as Value Cumulation or reading business books 📚. I enjoy playing sports such as soccer ⚽, volleyball 🏐, tennis 🎾, skiing 🎿, swimming 🏊‍♂️, and hiking in national parks 🌲.
